Every first Sunday afternoon of the month (except April) from 2-5pm learn a different book structure each week.
2/7/10: Funky Folding Books
Learn several different unique folding structures made from a single sheet of paper. Complete several models and then choose one design to make into a finished book with hard covers. Bring photos, various art and craft papers, collage items and your favorite media to decorate your book.
3/7/10: Accordion and Concertina Based Structures
Go beyond the classic accordion book and learn several alternatives. Also learn how to use a concertina-folded spine as the basis for combination structures with the pamphlet stitch and envelopes. You’ll walk away with several models and a finished book complete with hard covers at the end of the workshop. This is a practical bookmaking class and open to all levels.
